In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the document Musicam Sacram, the Vatican II Instruction on Music in the Liturgy, the Manila Cathedral presents its 7th Pipe Organ Concert entitled PRAYER THROUGH MUSIC: A Recollection-Concert on October 27, Friday, 7:00pm. Let us join Manila Archbishop Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, liturgical music composer Fr. Manoling Francisco SJ, and liturgist Fr. Reginald Malicdem in reflecting on the role of music, choirs and musicians in the worship of the Church. The Manila Cathedral-Basilica Choir together with other guest performers like Elha Nympha, Bukas Palad Music Ministry, Hangad, St. Mary’s Academy-Pasay Vocal Group, organist Alejandro Consolacion II, and violinist LaDonna Taylor will enrich this recollection experience with their performances.
