Intramuros Administration joins ASEAN Tourism Forum Travel Exchange

The Intramuros Administration joined the Philippine delegation to the Travel Exchange (TRAVEX) of the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2023 last February 2-5 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Having Intramuros, the 2022 World Travel Award’s Leading Tourist Attraction of Asia, as part of the Philippine booth strengthens its position as a prime heritage destination in the ASEAN region. Apart from the B2B meetings with buyers, IA was also able to network with other heritage destinations for technical exchange on best practices in managing heritage sites.
IA is grateful to the Department of Tourism – Philippines Secretary Cristina Garcia Frasco for giving the necessary support that it needs in maximizing its tourism potential.
IA also thanks the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines led by Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles, for inviting us to participate in the TRAVEX and for ensuring that visual images of Intramuros were highly visible in all materials of the Philippines during the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2023.
