The Internship Program of the Intramuros Administration, through the Center for Intramuros Studies, is a research-oriented learning opportunity for interns to work directly with the Administration in its work in directing the orderly development and restoration of the Walled City. As such, the Administration is investing in getting students and emerging professionals exposed to Intramuros Studies, Manila Studies, and heritage management. The Administration’s Internship Program challenges interns to apply and hone their current skills in research and development.

John Paul Escandor Arcilla, known professionally as Rancho Arcilla, holds the following positions under the Intramuros Administration: Senior Tourism Operations Officer and head of the Intramuros Visitors Center, Chairperson of the Intramuros Technical Committee on Architectural Standards (TCAS), and Head of the Archives and Central Records. As TCAS Chairperson, Mr. Arcilla overseas the review of all development, including new constructions, in the Walled City.

Christian Emmanuel Catahan is currently a Planning Officer II (Archivist and Researcher) at the Intramuros Administration (IA) and the Coordinator of the IA Center for Intramuros Studies. He is a lifetime member of the Philippine Historical Association.

Ramil Belleza Tibayan is a Filipino architect and cultural worker. He is presently the Chief of the Cultural Properties Conservation Division of the Intramuros Administration. As an academic, he is also presently a lecturer at the College of Architecture of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. As a practicing architect he is licensed in the Philippines and in the national licensure examinations in 2009 he earned the top place.

Jeffrey Yap is a Supervising Historic Sites Development Officer at the Intramuros Administration. He has published essays, short stories, and papers with life in Manila as a central theme. He has taught Philippine Literature in English at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran and more recently at Assumption College San Lorenzo where he gives an online lecture on media and literary arts.
