The Intramuros Administration in cooperation with the Department of Tourism organized a tour for the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) ministers and officials from June 20 to 23 in Intramuros. The officials and ministers attended the international conference on tourism statistics. A total of 972 participants from 88 countries took part in the conference.
The delegates were given a guided tour of Fort Santiago, Casa Manila, and San Agustin Church. For their culminating activity, they were treated to a cultural performance by the Manila Dance Ambassadors and the Letran Filipiniana Dance Company. While refreshments were being served, they enjoyed the folk and traditional dances held rather aptly within the Walled City.
