iMake History Fortress Reopens to the Public

iMake History Fortress LEGO Education Center reopened today in a reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Atty. Joan M. Padilla, Administrator of the Intramuros Administration, and Mylene Abiva, CEO and President of Felta Multimedia, Inc. 

The event was graced by Chairperson George Garcia of the Commission on Elections, Executive Director Gertie Batocabe of the Nayong Filipino Foundation, Executive Director Cecille Lorenzana of the National Parks Development Committee, Aaron Limpe-Aw of Destileria Limtuaco, as well as by representatives of the Royal Danish Embassy and the Department of Tourism attached agencies. 

iMake History Fortress LEGO Learning Center is a project by the Intramuros Administration, Felta Multimedia, Inc., and the Royal Danish Embassy Manila. 

The Center was established in 2018. It is the first of its kind in the Philippines. 

It is open everyday, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

iMake specializes in the exhibition of LEGO models based on historical and cultural landmarks in the Philippines. 

As a learning center, the facility is also an avenue for training the youth as architects, designers, engineers, and creatives using LEGO Education modules as medium. 

The two-storey colonial building at Baluarte de Santa Barbara in Fort Santiago, which used to serve as a military storage facility and barracks during the Spanish colonial era, was adaptively reused as the home iMake History Fortress.
