2nd Annual Intramuros Young Scholars Conference: Intramuros: A Heritage of Resilience

In its almost half a millennia of existence Intramuros has proven its resilience as a heritage district. Its walls and fortifications as well as its streets and open spaces, along with San Agustin and the Manila Cathedral all bear witness to centuries of continuous human habitation that had given rise to an equally resilient nation that continues to thrive despite the passing of natural and man-made disasters.

The 2nd Annual Young Scholars Conference served as a venue where the youth and young professionals and researchers shared their studies on Intramuros and its heritage of resilience. It featured a total of seven selected undergraduate and masters level theses in the span of two days, and was entirely staged online. The conference was open to the public free of charge, and everyone was invited to attend and participate.

11-12 December 2020. Via Zoom.
