The Intramuros Administration, in partnership with WTA Architecture and Design Studio’s The Book Stop Project PH, Sanghabi, and Titik Poetry, organized today, 12 June 2017, a Baybayin Workshop and an Open Mic-Balagtasan Night at the Plaza Roma and Plaza Moriones in Fort Santiago, respectively.

The Baybayin Workshop was conducted with Leo Castro of Sanghabi as guest lecturer, and focused on the brief history and art of the ancient syllabic script of Filipino known as Baybayin. The Open Mic and Balagtasan Night, meanwhile, was led by artists from Titik Poetry, a Cavite-based artist and literary group.
