The Chinese New Year Lantern Painting Activity will be held on 17 February 2026, starting at 9 AM. It will have two sites: Lecture Hall of Museo de Intramuros and Teatro in Fort Santiago. This event is open to the public and will run for the day until supplies last.

Those who will successfully complete paper lanterns will be given a fortune cookie as a treat. They will also have the option to either bring their lantern home or hang it at a spot that will be designated at both sites.
