A: The IA oversees all development within Intramuros and ensures compliance with heritage conservation guidelines. However, not all establishments are owned by the IA—some are privately or publicly owned but still fall under IA’s regulatory jurisdiction.

A: IA supports the tourism in Intramuros by conducting, assisting, sponsoring, and supporting cultural activities, festivals, exhibits, and educational programs together with local and international stakeholders. It also supervises the operation and maintenance of all the attractions operated by the Administration.

A: All construction, renovation, reconstruction, sanitation, elevator installation, and occupancy activities within Intramuros require permits from the Intramuros Administration (IA).

A: Non-commercial shoots may be conducted at sites such as Puerta Real Gardens, Fort Santiago, San Diego Gardens, and Casa Manila Patio.The base fee is Php 6,000 for up to 10 persons for 4 hours of continuous shooting. Additional participants and overtime are subject to extra charges.

A: We don’t have any provision for a holding area. Clients are free to use the restroom, however, it is not for their exclusive use as the gated sites are open to the general public.

A: We don’t allow the client to charge their equipment or any other tools except the battery of their cameras.

A: Yes, you may conduct outside shoots. Note that said shoot is subject to a fee of Php 613.00 per hour. Please make sure not to obstruct the streets that the client will use for the shoot and will not obstruct the traffic flow.

A: The reservation shall be made not later than FIVE (5) DAYS prior to the scheduled shoot. To apply for a commercial shoot, kindly click this link.

A: Shooting fees shall be paid in full upon completion of online reservation transactions. A refundable cash bond of Php 20,000 is required.

Movie: Php 36,000/hour (Php 3,600 per succeeding hour)
Documentary/Video: Php 18,000/hour (Php 1,800 per succeeding hour)
Photoshoot: Php 12,000/hour (Php 1,200 per succeeding hour)

Note: A refundable cash bond of Php 20,000 is required

A:In case of transfer of schedule or location and/or postponement, the client is required to submit a written request through email for approval of the Administration. The request must be submitted not later than five (5) days before the date of shooting indicated in the permit with complete details such as reason of rescheduling, new date of shooting, etc.

A: In case of cancellation, only fifty percent (50%) of the shooting fee will be refunded to the client, including the full amount of cash bond. The cash bond shall be refunded net of cost of damages (if any). The client shall submit a formal or written request for refund via courier or (or hand-carry it to IA office) and is subject for approval along with the original copy of the official receipt (O.R.). A confirmation email will be sent to the client

A: For student shoots, please go to this link – https://intramuros.gov.ph/shoots/ , then click “Students”. After submitting your responses, you will receive an automatic email confirmation which will serve as your proof of registration and permit. On the day of your shoot, show it to the security guard along with your school ID and a letter or any proof of instructions from your professor or teacher that you are required to have a shoot for school purposes only.

A: Fort Santiago, Centro de Turismo Intramuros, Museo de Intramuros, Baluarte de San Diego, Casa Manila, and Plazuela de Sta. Isabel are among the most visited sites under the jurisdiction of the Intramuros Administration. Some sites outside the IA’s jurisdiction that are also among the most visited include the Manila Cathedral, San Agustin Church (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and Bahay Tsinoy.
