In order to keep up with the latest innovation and productivity improvement, Planning and Management Division Chief Edgardo Baysic and Tourism Officer Jeffrey Yap represented the Intramuros Administration in the Development of Productivity Specialists for the Public Sector (DPSPS) Foundation Course last November 7 to 11 and 21 to 25, 2016 at Lancaster Hotel and Astoria Plaza.

Along with 15 government agencies, IA took on the challenge in reinventing its frontline processes by learning from the expert trainers from the Development Academy of the Philippines. The trainers and speakers presented the importance of coming up with an Innovation Productivity Improvement Projects for the Public Sector. The modules were tailored specifically for service-oriented government agencies such as the Intramuros Administration to ensure that the public is highly satisfied and received quality service.

At the end of the DPSPS Foundation Course, the employees of the government agencies who has participated in the learning process will bring with them proper understanding and knowledge of the essence of productivity and how applying it to their lives and workplace will positively affect their performance and the public whom they should serve.
